In case your wondering, I’m not in the photo it’s because I was taking the photo. Story of my life. For Thanksgiving this year Ray and I flew to California to be with the Chungs. Flying was an absolute disaster going both ways. Do yourself a favor and don’t ever fly United. Our flight was canceled without any notice. However we were able to catch flight 88 which actually got us there 15 minutes earlier. Kinda weird because 88 is our number and for some reason it always finds it’s way into our lives.

My mother lives in the kitchen.

My dad got Ray some T-shirts from China. All of which are too small.

Lana and Kevin couldn’t make it for Thanksgiving because they were flying to Arizona so we celebrated Thanksgiving with them a few days before.

Chilling on the couch with full bellies.

In his spare time my dad likes to pretend like he’s 14 years old and listen to music on his on his headphone while watching the video on his little television alone in his room.

My mornings are spent with my dad. One morning him and I went jogging. I didn’t bring any jogging shoes so I went in my boots. True story. On this particular morning my dad and I went on a very long bike ride. It had to be something like 45 miles. All I know is we were far, far from home.

My dad led the way. He took me down dangerous roads that most dads would think twice about taking their child, like the freeway. But the danger was well worth it because soon we came upon a small hidden bike path that went for miles and miles and miles along a canal.

My dad is adorable.

Like I said, my dad led the way so taking a photo of his backside was my only option.

We took a couple of breaks along the way.

Alright, so after like 20 miles or so we reach the end of the path and all that is in front of us is a tall dam across the street. So this is the end of the road, that is until my dad spots people hiking up the dam, and then he takes a closer look and yes, there’s people up there, walking and jogging. My dad being the curious monkey that he is wants to check it out but he needs the green light from me. “I really want to go up there, but we’re already so far from home, no we shouldn’t go up there huh?” he says to me. Honestly, I didn’t really want to go up there. I was tired, hungry, far from home, I knew my mom and Selena was probably at home thinking we’d be home any minute now, and we still had at least 20 miles to ride back home. But my dad has never been this close to the dam so if my dad wants to go up that freaking dam then we’re gonna go up that freaking dam. I grab my bike and say, “come on lets go,” and ride across the street toward the dam. “Huh, we’re gonna go,” my dad was so excited. We took a photo when we reached the top of the dam.

I know it doesn’t look like it but we were pretty high up.

We road for miles and miles on that freaking dam.

And then my dad notices a lake and a park to the left and of course he wants to go check it out. “Wow, it looks really pretty over there. I want to go see it. Do you want to go see it?” No I don’t want to go see it, but I say, “yeah, dad lets go check it out.”

My dad is the biggest photo whore ever. He wants me to take photos of him every time we reach a new destination so he can remember all the places that he’s been. My dad’s been to a lot of places. I think he’s on his 3rd or 4th passport. His last trip to China got prolong because he had to order more pages for his passport.

He’s a poser too.

We take more photos.

My dad is the swan whisperer.

We take our bikes down further and come upon a beach, man made obviously, but there was sand and everything.

We stop to take photos and then to sit on the beach and talk about life.

My dad tells me that today he’s really happy and if it weren’t for me he wouldn’t have came this far. I’m sure he would of eventually found it but it was nice to hear.

And then we head back home.

We stop for one drink break and this is where I make the mistake of telling my dad that I like to ride fast. I told him that because I wanted to get home as soon as possible. He rides fast the whole way down the bike path, so fast that he’s literally like 500 yards in front of me. Hello, my dad is 64 years old. What the fuck!

Later that day we head to my oldest sister’s home so we can spend time with her and my niece, Sianna. Sianna made a turkey out of food. She’s a creative kid.

The next day Jeff, my sister’s husband comes over with their daughter Sianna for Thanksgiving.

Lots of Chinese food this year.

I love my family and miss them everyday.

I love tofu too.

I made vegan lettuce wraps. Thanks for the recipe Bea. It was the only dish that was completely demolished.

My dad was happy Jeff came, even though Lien didn’t.

The girls after dinner.

Saying good-bye to Jeff.

And the next day we flew home. What a great trip. We have so much to be thankful for. Hope ya’ll had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Ray and I were extras in Friday Night Lights. They gave us props like the pom pom you see in my hand, Ray’s yellow scarf, my yellow sweater, and Ray’s black coat, which he decided to take back home with him as a little souvenir. The turn out for extras was low so we had to play fan’s on both the opposing team and home team. Black clothes was for the opposing team. Booooo!

We met a friend that day, Lynn Greenfield. She drove hours just to be an extra and all by herself.

Scoreboard.

Jesse Plemons as Landry Clarke.

Fans for the home team.

Taylor Kitsch as Tim Riggins.

Brad Leland as Buddy Garrity.

Zach Gilford as Matt Saracen.

Jeremy Sumpter as J.D. McCoy.

Connie Britton as Tami Taylor.

Not the best photo but it was the best shot I had. Adrianne Palicki asTyra Collette sitting next to Minka Kelly as Lyla Garrity (in the red hat).

Again not the best photo but it’s what I could take. Connie Britton next to Aimee Teegarden as Julie Taylor (curly blond chic).

Kyle Chandler, Taylor Kitsch, Zach Gilford, Jesse Plemons giving away a signed T-shirt as a raffle prize.

Me and Lynn.

Those who stayed till the end got free pizza.

Oh, and some douche bag asked his girl to marry him. Yeah, real original dude.

So the first half of the game they get their ass handed to them. In the second half they make a come back and make you think that they have a chance to win it but in the end they remain losers. The end.

Ray stole a sweater, I took a pom pom, we made a friend but haven’t spoken to her since we met so I guess it’s safe to say we had a friend for a day, Ray got free pizza and we both made a whopping $114.75 for like 10 hours.

It’s Elijah’s birthday and what was suppose to be a father and son trip turned out to be the Rose’s, Gauvin’s, Hernandez’s and who ever else wants to tag along. Yay! Happy Birthday kid. Let’s do this shit up right.

We went to the Museum of Natural History. Not only was this the coolest place to take a little boy for his birthday, but it was also the coolest place for grown ups to go on any day.

They even had a whole section dedicated to the dopest people that ever lived.

Poser.

We took a shit ton of photos of dinosaur bones and what ever else caught our eye.

Aaaahhhhh!

Taking a photo of my hubby.

Seriously, look at the size of the dinosaur compared to us. Kinda glad they’re not around anymore.

Bea’s in training.

So afterwards we headed for the next coolest place to take a kid on their birthday, F.A.O Schwarz.

It was a pretty night for a walk.

I’m a thinker.

And a fighter.

And then we went to one of the raddest places to eat, especially if your a vegetarian, Pukk.

We’ve been here for almost two months now, how are we just finding out about this place?

Awe, I think baby Judah likes Pigg.

We passed baby Judah around for a photo shoot.

Toy Tokyo was next.

I like Pigg.

I like Boe-Bot too.

The boys are waiting outside while the girls get some sesame covered chocolate balls. Yummy!

Back at the subway on our way back home.

Elijah can’t wait to play with his new toys.

And this is where Sue and I almost kicked the shit out of a classic douche bag inside of Cold Stone Creamery. What a fucking asshole he was.

The next day a ninja attacked Elijah.

But he fought back.

Our car got broken into.

Yes you heard that right. On the day Ray and I planned on going home, someone breaks into our car to steal my boyfriend Tom Tom. Now who am I to talk to when I drive? Well I guess things could of been worse. At least they didn’t steal the car. Sad window on the ground.

Well I guess we’ll be heading to the city with all of you.

The champion. Can I get some Rocky music please.

Nothing like vegan dim sum to start the day off.

Kid Robot is expensive but very cool.

It takes two men to change one diaper.

Back at the sub way.

The next day was a very sad day because Ray and I packed our bags and headed back home after two months. Living with Bea and Guav was awesome. There’s not a lot of people I can live that long with but with them it was more like living with family. I miss cooking with Bea and waiting for Guav to come home because he was always the last to get in. Meeting the Roses was a treat. They are definitely my new favorite peeps. I just wish they lived closer because I could use more friends like Sue around. I would totally kick the shit out of anyone with her. I love all of you and thanks for an awesome experience.

I miss my family.

Alright just so ya’ll know, I’m not in New York anymore. Ray and I left just in time to fly to California for Thanksgiving. I’ve just been so busy that blogging had to take back seat. Anyhow, here’s a quick recap of my crazy life in New York from where I left off.

A lot of random events took place when we got back from Syracuse. Luke, from Poland came to visit for about a week. Cloe dropped in from Brooklyn one night and we all had game night.

Jenga, Jenga, Jenga . . .

Chinese checkers is boring.

I got to work at Jimmy Z’s as a free lancer.

I got this fortune on my first day of work. Crazy.

Kola was fucking adorable in his superman costume.

Cloe was a sickle cell, I was a slutty rag doll and Bea was a naughty nurse for Halloween.

The boys were stealth ninjas.

With some of Bea’s friends from work.

It was a fun Halloween.

Ray and I went to Wall Street.

I got to touch the balls of a bull and absolutely loved every second of it.

Ray needs to learn how to do this. That’s the money pose.

We had lunch at the pier.

Got to see more of New York.

The next day Ray and I went to Bryant Park. They put up an ice skating ring there.

Went to F.A.O. Schwarz.

Went to Serendipity and had some dessert. Serendipity is one of the first movies that Ray and I watched when we were first dating.

Chris flew in.

And he brought Chip. Awesome.

Pigs.

Watched Obama become President. Fuck Yeah!

Damn I have a sexy husband

Went to a billiards with Spencer, Aaron and Vicki and then went out for pizza and garlic bread afterwards.

The weekend came and were headed upstate to Syracuse where Ray and I finally got to meet Sue, D.J. and all their lovely offspring.

This is baby Judah. He’s the newest addition to the Rose family and he’s also Bea’s Godchild. I think I love him.

Yes Kola, I love you too.

D.J. is the owner of a very cool tattoo shop called Halo Tattoos.

I got a free T-shirt just for coming.

Can you spot Kola?

The crazy boys.

Sue’s can cook a mean meal.

Everybody agrees, it’s delrishious!

Gay boys like to snuggle on the couch.

Scrabble fun.

Early next morning Bea and I had our priorities straight. We headed straight to the ATM and patiently waited for our husbands to hand over some funds for our flee market extravaganza. It was amazing.

Later on that day we took a road trip to Ithaca. Ithaca’s gangster, at least that’s what I read somewhere once, Think it was on a T-shirt.

Shortstop Deli, an incredible place to get sandwiches. Ray couldn’t wait to come here.

Sue is beautiful and breast feeding.

My happy dance. You taking notes Guav?

It wouldn’t be the same without Kola.

I’m like so vintage.

My Be-Bot.

Ray loves sandwiches.

This is where Bea and Guav got married.

It was breathtaking.

I heard a troll lives somewhere up here.

Heart hug.

Guav’s the man.

I like it here.

The foxy ladies.

D.J. and sleepy Judah.

Fuck Yeah!

Very nice.

Photowhore.

Alone and deserted. Photo by Guav.

Just chilling.

Wish they lived closer.

Me and my husband.

Onward Bilbo Baggins

Love it.

Rocky.

Gangsta.

Fall time fun.

Bea is literally trying to knock Ray in his ass. Get him Bea, get him good.

GuavMom. She’s a sweetheart.

Mother and son.

Bringing the night to an end at a local cafe.

Awesome photo of Bea and Guav.

Ray is a man of mystery.

Sue and D.J. drove back home that night and we did too. The End.
