What a great day. When I think about the day I got married I can’t help but to smile really big. It’s the way every wedding should be: stress free, surrounded people you love, lots of good food and alcohol always helps.

There was some last minute shopping I had to get done, like flowers. Bea, Jackie and I went out in search of fresh flowers. After hitting up a few places and 3 hundred dollars later we came back with butt loads of flowers and some other random items we had on our list.

To my delight I came back to see my sister’s and mother had been hard at work doing what they do best, cook.

Chris and Pops fired up the grill.

I got in my bikini and joined the party.

How adorable do my sisters, mom and I look here?

Good times in the pool.

Jackie made her infamous jungle juice.

Synchronizing pools jumping should be an Olympic event.

Kola roamed around.

Is this the gayest photo or what? Guav is in a bikini and in the back it looks like Coop is giving Ray a flower. I hope this photo comes back to haunt them one day.

As you can tell, it was a pretty awesome day and it was only going to get better. I love weddings, especially mine.

Bea and Guav

Bea and Guav are our cool friends, with cool jobs, cool tattoos and cool celebrity friends. Last week they flew into Los Angeles for Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz’s wedding. We decided to stay a few extra days so we could hang out. I asked my sister, Lana, if we could all stay at the guest house that Ray and I usually stay at, but just so happens the person renting it out was actually going to be there. So Ray and I ended up staying in Lana’s house in the work room and we had Bea and Guav rent a hotel within driving distance.

how the boys shop

This is how the boys shop with the girls, they wait next to the dressing room playing with their iPhones. I actually prefer shopping like this because this way Ray is in good company so I don’t feel rushed and surprisingly, I like shopping with Bea. She makes a much better shopping partner than Ray. Sorry honey.

before the wedding

This is Bea and Guav right before the wedding. Don’t they look glamorous?

L.A. Ink

Ray and I decided to stay in town so we didn’t have to drive all the way back that night to pick them up. In an effort to kill time we played the tourist roll and went to famous sites like Rodeo Dr. and Whilshire from Pretty woman, cruise Sunset and went to L.A. Ink. I tried to convince Ray to get a tattoo since he already knows what he wants, even though the chances of getting a tattoo from someone from L.A. Ink on a walk in was slim, but you never know. Ray grew a vagina and pussied out but it didn’t matter because no one from the actual show was working.

hanging out at the pool

The next day we hung out at the pool and in the pool. Bea managed to start war with a little kid in the pool and he wouldn’t stop shooting water at us.

Ray is not happy about me taking photos of him all the time but that never seems to stop me from doing so.

Bea eats candy alone

Bea enjoys her candy alone. She’s eating pieces of chocolate from the wedding while staring out the window. No need to explain, I completely understand.

Guav and Ray found time to bond.

And Guav manage to find time to take the cruiser on a test run down the street and back.

Ray and Guav played with their iphones while waiting for Bea to get ready.  Notice Kola sleeping on Guav’s head.

Look who woke up?  Kola is really is the cutest dog in the world.

Of course hanging out with Guav wouldn’t be complete without bed jumping photos.  These photos are taken by Guav.  I call this one “Flying with Peter Pan.”

Hanging out with Bea and Guav was lots of fun and much too short.  Like I said, I should of taken more photos while they were down.  Some memorable events that are worth mentioning are:  Guav sat next to Gossip Girl, Michelle Trachtenberg, on the flight to Los Angelos and apparently stirred up some celebrity drama.  We think it’s amusing but Guav doesen’t.  By the way, all the rumors are completely true. We saw Mrs. Jay from Top Model at the restaurant,Toast.  Bea bought my wedding dress at a vintage shop and I found out Bea is fun to shop with, not because she bought my wedding dress.  Every time I hang out with these guys I love them more and more.  I guess Ray was right, “Bea and Guav are sooo cool.”  Yes they are and I miss them already.

So I did it again, I quit Sergio’s. I quit there once before, but after much consideration I decided to stay there once a week, Tuesdays.  After coming to grips with the fact that we’re moving, I realized that I need to put my two weeks in soon otherwise there won’t be two weeks to put in.  I really respect my boss, so I didn’t want to just quit without giving the proper two weeks.  Since I was only there once a week and Brian is super cool, he said it was cool if I wanted to just have last Tuesday be my last night.  It was fine with me, so now I don’t work at Sergio’s anymore.  But, the chef there did ask me to come back to take some photos of the food.  Even though I’m probably not going to do it, it was cool to actually get asked to take some photos for a business.  As most of you know I’m a photo whore and when I get to Austin I’m thinking about taking my passion for photography more serious.  Along with quiting at Sergio’s I also quit the Cheese.  However, that was another story.  I debated for a long time if I should even put my two weeks in there or if I should just be a total bitch and just quit one day.  My conscious got the best of me and I decided to just give proper notice.  I’m glad I did because I musta caught Kealoha on a good day because she was super cool about the whole thing, so cool that I even asked if she was happy to see me go.  Anyhow, I finally quit both places this time, and this time it’s for reals, which means I’m just that much closer to moving to Austin.

I don’t know exactly how it happen, but after I quit Sergio’s my good friend Brian, along with a few others talked me into staying for just one day. Brian’s a really good sales person and the following week I went Brian, my boss and decided to stay on for just one day, Tuesdays.  I thought about it and even though I don’t make as much there and there’s so much more work, the people there are so cool.  I work with a bunch of characters, like myself, so we manage to make work super entertaining.  It’s a fiasco sometimes.  And when word got around that I was leaving, everyone seemed real bummed out by it, which was really flattering.  Anyhow, as for now, I’m there one day a week.

Yep, I quit Sergio’s. I don’t think I ever mentioned it before but I got a job at Sergio’s about two months ago and last Saturday I quit. This has to be the record for me for shortest job held. You see, I got the job under the impression that I would be making roughly around 3-4 hundred a night. The person who told me this is the wife of the general manager at Sergio’s and now I know she likes to over exaggerate. I work with her at my current job and she got my friend Brian a job there and when I asked her to get me a job she said that they don’t hire females. So instead of asking the managers wife, I asked my good buddy Brian to get me a job. The GM, whose name is also Brian told Brian to tell me to come on down, which basically meant I got the job. Any how, to make the long story short my plan was to quit my current job and stay at Sergio’s once I adjusted. There was a lot of things I really liked about being at Sergio’s. The staff is pretty cool, with the exception of one or two guys, I really like my boss Brian, which was really refreshing because I don’t know the last time I really respected my boss, we get fed at night, for free, and after work we’re welcome to try the wine, just as long as we clock out and changed our shirt. I came home many nights nicely buzzed. Anyhow, now why the hell would I quit? Here goes, after working here I’m not sure if fine dining is quit for me. I’m just not sophisticated enough. I don’t like rules and there’s a million rules when it comes to fine dining and I don’t just mean which utensil to use. I have to put the tea cup at four o’ clock and the champaign glass to the left of the knife but the cocktail glass to the right of the spoon and not to take the bread basket before bringing a new one, the list goes on and on. Now, I know it’s not so bad once I get it all down but the money really was the breaking point for me. I make more at my joe blow job than at this place and the work is so easy and a lot less work involved. At Sergio’s the side work never ended. These people really take pride in their job because they polish the hell out of every fucking thing. I can’t tell you how much I hated all the tedious bull shit work there.  I came home tired all the time and had to wake up to do it all over again. Of course it was nice to have a lot of money but I was starting to loose my sanity.  I never had anytime for myself anymore let alone my honey and dog.  Ray had been trying to get me to quit for the longest time.  He even bought me this computer as bate to leer me away from work.  It took me so long because I really enjoy having a boss I respect.  Last Saturday I pulled Brian aside and put my two weeks in.  Telling him was really hard and I felt like I was breaking up with a boyfriend that didn’t want to get broken up with.  It sucked and I hate that I let him down but I have to do what’s best for me.
