I have good news and bad news. The good news is it’s my buddy Rex’s birthday and he decided to spend it in Dallas. The bad news is I will be working on his birthday and won’t be able to spend it with him.

However, he is coming down for a few days so I do get to see his sweet ass.

We went out to dinner at this super swank restaurant. I don’t remember the name but it was pretentious. Oh I forgot, Rex brought his entourage, Jessica and this other gay dude. I forgot his name as well, but he does live here in Dallas. They were staying at his place.

After dinner we went clubbing around the gayborhood for a bit. Rex was planning on staying for a few days so I really thought that I would be able to spend more time with him to make up for not being there on his birthday but he was busy, I was busy. Life goes on. I’m just happy I got to see him. Love ya Rex. Happy fucking birthday buddy.

Who ever said good-bye wasn’t easy to do probably didn’t live in Austin. Good bye Austin and good riddance. Austin is two words, OVER RATED. Yes you can quote me on that and just to get the point across loud and clear I’ll say it again, “OVER RATED.” I totally agree, it’s a great place to visit, which is probably why we heard such great things about this place. People leave Austin with fabulous things to say because they just left events like SXSW, a concert or conference, etc. so of course they’re gonna leave with their tongue up Austin’s asshole. But the peeps that live here and think that this is it? I’m gonna bet that they haven’t lived anywhere else and if so I’m guessing Nebraska or Alabama. Alright, maybe I’m being a little harsh but I’m just in one of those moods tonight. My friend Shaners would be proud right now because opinionated Doe is out tonight. So if your a die hard Ausinite and accidentally stumbled onto my blog and find yourself offended, carry on good fellow, carry on. This blog is not for you. It’s intended for family, good friends and die hard committed stalkers only, and really just my way to bitch just to bitch. I mean, really, who’s reading this stuff anyhow?

However, Austin does house some cool ass people. I’ve met great friends here and tonight is the night I bid a few of them farewell at Weirdos. Seriously, I can’t believe this is my first time here. Weirdos is such an awesome place.

I have to say I’m gonna really miss Sexy Rexy. He’s a good friend to have and so crazy.

Well my buddy Kippers got kicked out of Weirdos for being a weirdo. Seriously, I don’t even know but we had to move the party to some dive bar called Canary or Rooster. I’m not sure.

Michelle told everyone I was leaving for China and sang, “I will survive.” How did she know I love that song? These guys are a lot of fun. I kinda regret not hanging out as much. It was a great night and such a wonderful way to end the chapter of my life in Austin. Dallas ready or not here I come.

I kissed my husband good night when I walked in the house and said, “I’m so drunk.” Then I stumbled up the stairs to bed.
